Mastering the Art of Repurposing Content

Creating content is one thing.
Distributing content is a whole different beast.
Recently, I had the opportunity to share the content repurposing routine that led to AllStreetâs growth, my experience with niching down, and more:
âYou have to be conscious of quality, but you canât let perfection stop you from putting out content.
Youâre going to get better over time - you just have to balance between âam I getting better & is this working?â and âdo I actually need to pivot & do something else?ââ

âThis stuff is super easy not to do, but itâs marketing.
You have a business, you need to grow it and get people aware of what you do.
So, if youâre not going to in-person conferences and youâre not making 100 to 150 dials a day you need to get your name in front of people and the easiest way to do that is content.â

the most important thing when repurposing: make it native
this is common sense, but the friction of posting on social media makes it murky.
think about it: the newspaper doesnât write an article with two sentences and then tell people to go to a website to read the rest. thatâd be insane.
but thatâs how a lot of publishers (you) act on social media.
if someoneâs consuming your content on twitter, donât make them go somewhere else to get the essence of it.
yes, you may want to drive people to your website. or your youtube channel.
but itâs still better to make a vast majority of your content native so they can more easily consume it and if they like it, theyâll go wherever thereâs more.
